JOIN US IN WORSHIPING THE LORD THROUGH ONE OF OUR GATHERINGS.

A typical Cru Week involves four ways to connect.

These include Monday Large Group, Dinner & Bible Studies, Discipleship, and Community .

MEN’S AND WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

Connecting in smaller group Bible Studies by Men and Women provides an opportunity to dig into God’s Word in a deeper way, and allows life-long relationships to develop. Typically, these studies begin with a homemade meal, fellowship, and then launch into the studies led by upperclassmen cadets. These studies meet either on Wednesdays or Thursdays, depending on how the cadet calendar is structured within each school semester. They tend to meet in Vandenburg Hall in one of the available SARs (Squadron Assembly Rooms).

MONDAY NIGHT LARGE GROUP GATHERING

There’s lots of ways you can plug into Cru, but the first connection for most people is our large group meeting on Monday Nights at 1820 in Fairchild Hall.  If you’d like to skip dinner at Mitchell Hall, we gather early for Pizza beginning at 1800.

Thankfully, Monday evenings are set aside on the cadet schedule for Personal Formation Time, and many cadets appreciate using this time for growing spiritually.  We begin with pizza, followed worship, a teaching time from the Word, and small group breakouts led by upperclassmen cadets.

Mondays are the time when the whole USAFA Cru Family can gather, and it’s often the highlight of the school week for cadets.  Come check it out!

DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS

One of the highlights of the week is the opportunity for cadets to meet for discipleship and personal growth in one-on-one or small group formats. These discipleship times most often can occur between class periods in the Academic building, but bleed over into friendship and relationships outside of the school week. They become life-on-life opportunities to grow in the love and knowledge of the Lord with iron-sharpens-iron relationships, and rich time in the Word.
